The International PEN Women Writers’ Committee was created in 1991 to address the special needs of women writers within the International PEN framework. It now enjoys representation in over 70 PEN Centres. Its Chair is Dr Judith Buckrich, Vice-President of the Melbourne Centre of PEN in Australia.
